2011 Embro Tractor Pull Rules
FARM STOCK TRACTOR PULL PAGE
1.
All competitors must be 16 years of age or older
2.
All competitors must be the owner of the tractor or have written consent from the owner to compete with their tractor
3.
Competitors are not to consume alcohol or inhibitors prior to pulling
4.
Competitors compete at their own risk. All competitors must sign a waiver clearing the ETP committee, volunteers, and sponsors any responsibility in accidents or property damage.
5.
Competitors must abide by the rules set out in 2011 ETP Rules.

All decisions made by ETP track officials are final. Arguing with track officials will result in disqualification.
7.
It is the responsibility of the competitor to register for the correct class, and ensure the tractor is correctly weighted prior to pulling.

Tractors must be stock farm tractors and retain the capability to perform field work, i.e. No alcohol injection, cement filled water jackets, oversized turbochargers, cut tires, or engine RPM's above factory spec. All tractors not meeting this criteria CAN pull in their respective weight class as an exibition puller and WILL NOT qualify for a trophy.

All tractors equipped with Mechanical Front Wheel drive must operate with MFWD disengaged in weight classes 1 thru 8. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification and will be judged by track officials.

All tractors can not operate with duals in classes 1 thru 11. Rear duals allowed in class 12. Front duals in class 13. Triples- 14.

All weight added to a tractor must be in the form of suitcase weights, wheel weights, or liquid ballast. Tractors may be equipped with a custom weight bracket. NO weights are to be added behind the rear axle or placed in the cab/ operators platform

All weights must be securely fastened to the tractor and cannot be chained or wired to the frame. In the event any articles fall from the tractor while pulling the competitor will face automatic disqualification.

All tractors must be equipped with either a factory drawbar style hitch with or without a hammer strap or D-ring. (As shown in Fig. 1,2, and 3). No adjustable height hitches are permitted (Europian ). Competitors can not raise the height of the drawbar above original factory drawbar height) No pulling from the 3 pt. hitch. Hammerstap pins must be removeable.

No portion of the tractor may interfere with any portion of the sled or sled hitching device. All add-on brackets, wiring harnesses,
and hydraulic hoses must be removed or secured away from the drawbar area.

The tractor tires must remain inside the boundaries of the contest course.

Driver has 100’ to decide to restart.

Driver must be in total control at all times and operate in a safe manner or be disqualified at the discretion of the flag person.

Tractor must be stopped upon signal from either track official. Pull is considered over when forward motion of the sled stops, no hole digging allowed.

All tractors must be in neutral or park while being hooked or unhooked.

The number one puller will be the test puller, may take the pull if the working condition of the weight machine is satisfactory. Driver will have the option to drop re pull later in the class. Driver must decide immediately after their initial pull. In the event the sled is 

changed there is no option to drop, and the next puller will be the test puller.

Each contestant may spot the sled for their pull. Contestant must notify the track official or sled operator before the sled is backed into start position. All contestants must pull in position drawn within three minutes of sled spotting or will be disqualified. Track officials must be notified of any delays, and then the contestant may become last puller.

All pulls must start with a tight hitch, no jerking.

Violation of any rule will result in automatic disqualification. Track official has the right to stop and disqualify any tractor at any time.

A competitor can only register one tractor per class.
25.
Failure to obey either flag person will result in disqualification of that class.
26.
You will not be allowed to pull next year if you intentionally break these rules!
