2009 Embro Tractor Pull
Farm Stock Competition
Keep it simple…. Keep it fun.
This year, the Embro Tractor Pull Committee is pleased to announce that the fourth annual farm stock division pull will take place August 1st, 2009 with an approximate start time of 1 PM.
New this year, the ETP committee will solely organize and officiate the farm stock competition. As a result, we have added additional class sizes and will feature a heavy horse pull starting at 11AM with an open air dance at the conclusion of the pull
This year all competitors will pull for free as it will be included in the $20 general admission price that must be paid at the entrance gates. As a result, competetors will not have to pay the at the registration table and the wrist band will be valid for free admission to the modified truck and tractor pull on sunday.
This year, tractors are NOT required to weigh-in when registering for each class. It will be the competitor's responsibility to register their tractors in the correct weight classes. Prior to hooking to the sled, all tractors will drive over the scale. If the tractor is found to exceed the weight limit of the class they must immediately drop weight or they will be disqualified and entered into the proceeding class if time exists to do so. The scales will be open on July 31st and on pull day.
Day of Registration
When arriving with your tractor, buy the 2 day admission pass and then drive directly to the registration table where the competitor consent form and liability waiver must be signed. At this point, you will receive a competitor wrist band. If the competitor is not the owner of the tractor, they must present written consent from the owner at this time. All competitors must be 16 years of age or older. Registration opens at 8 PM Friday night and 9 AM Saturday. Tractors can arrive and register at any time throughout the day. It is strongly recommended that tractors do arrive and register prior to the 1 PM start time. The pull will not stop or wait for any tractor that is not on site, registered or weighted correctly.
At the registration table, each competitor will receive a colour coded decal which will have the class number and pulling order to display on the tractor. A decal with 18,5 -4 is the forth puller in the 15500-18500lbs weight class. ( 1st 3 digits= max. weight of class, last digit= pulling order). Pulling order will be first come first serve when registering. Regardless, no competitor will be first puller in more then one class. After registering at the table the tractor should be parked in the corral of the corresponding wieght class.
Each class will be called to the staging area where they will be ordered to line up in order. Tractors will cross the scale then hook to the sled. Tractors can then return to the corral or add weights and return to the staging line up for the next class.
All tractors that remain on site overnight must be parked in the designated overnight parking area. This will allow room for the haulers to park for the Sunday modified show.
